New features to this site_10.2.08

I have added a few design improvements to freshen up my online homestead. Very minor improvements, except on the work page. On this page, I installed a .js feature called lightbox. We have all seen it I think, but, it really makes for an improvement in the viewing of my work. BUT, the biggest improvement is that I have W3C compliant html now on the site. Hence the logo at the bottom. Go ahead, click it, and see for yourself.

NEW WORK!: MIT Security Awareness_9.30.08

A series of new work has rolled off the offset printer. A series of posters designed for MIT's IS&T department. The posters were designed around a "personal story". In recent years, people have become lazy about keeping up with the latest online threats. To increase awareness of these issues, the design was built around stunning imagery, that can speak to the diverse student and faculty at MIT. These poster will bring people in, and make them personally feel responsible for keeping their computers safe from harm. View them here.

Jordan Film Music has gone live. Jordan Film Music is the site of freelance soundtrack composer and engineer Jason Jordan. Jason will be promoting himself to Paramount Studios among other clients, and has done some really, really amazing work! Go ahead, check it out!

ITS LIVE!: Al Ponte Boutique's site has gone live_7.24.08

Al Ponte Boutique's new site has gone live. Some really great features will give the store more flexibility as well as better visibility to seach engines. The requirements for this site were to give a design flexible enough for the client to easily maintain the site, greater search engine visibility and consistent viewing across all browsers. infoMedMD has gone live after many months of developing the rather complex application that works behind the scenes that utilies flash technology, database, and a wealth of medical knowledge. InfoMedMD is an intelligent healthcare application which through a series of questions (infoMeds) provides you with personalized medical information specific to you and your symptoms.

The design phase is now complete for infoMedMD. We are looking to go live in July. The application build is huge, and Steve Callan of sjcallandesigns.com is doing a pretty amazing job building this application. More information on a solid live date will be coming soon.

New Project: Online store lobby for Al Ponte_5.29.08

I will be designing and optimizing a a "lobby" site for the current shopalponte.com. Really looking forward to this project. There is a lot of design freedom and a feeling of creativity that can really only come from B2C/retail kind of work. I want to make this very google friendly, and have a strong but simple design. We will see what comes of this by the end of July.

Welcome to the new Fortunate13 site! This site has a new look, feel and offerings. I spent quite a bit of time coming to this final design. Simplicity and ease of use are always a factor, but I wanted to add interest to each element. Fortunate13 is offering new services as well. Fresh copywriting, web development and email/analytical marketing. I am really excited about these new offerings. You can get so much more from an online presence by utilizing integrated campaigns that analyze and fine tune your marketing efforts directly to your current and prospective customers. You also offer a consistent message and tone by utilizing all the mediums available today.
